10 Php Useful Functions For Mysql Stuff

When working with PHP and mysql, every developer has its own methods, and most of the time, if we are happy with it, we do not necessarily take time to see how others are doing. I found interesting to read a different approach to a few of mysql functions in this post by Giulio Pons. I do not agree with everything that is written there but I quite like a few of them like for example the script to repair and optimize tables (quite clever), or the one to convert a record set to json and csv. Like I said, interesting to compare, I might post of few of my favourite mysql functions later on.

Form Design with Sliding Labels

Form Design with Sliding Labels

I found this form design very original and effective. Each row of the form is composed of a label and an input. The labels are positioned within the input when the page is loaded. When the user clicks an element to start typing, the label gently slides out of the element to leave you type. If you do not type, when the element loose the focus, the label slides back in. Very elegant. I like it a lot.
